The Easter that would not end

Here is Tripp and his friends at a South Weber Easter Egg Hunt. For their age group, you can see that the candy was just laying in the grass. Not too difficult. There were a bunch of out of control parents though. What's with adults that freak out over candy. Or free stuff. Geez.

Tripp and Ryder coloring eggs one night.

Tripp and his cousins Ryder and Kyra, eating Peeps while coloring eggs at a big family party.

Coloring bags to put their eggs in

Frosting and eating a sugar cookie. Grandma and Grandpa in the background. The red shirt in all three pics is Nate. Somehow I managed to never get his face....
Poor kid only got one egg 'cause he had to go potty right when the hunt was starting. They were pretty much all gone by the time we got to it. Then a sweet little distant cousin that I don't know gave him several of hers.

Easter Morning: the boys waiting patiently to go find their baskets.

Tripp found his in the kids oven in the basement.

Nate and Tripp about to embark on yet another hunt in our backyard the week after Easter.

The kids had to wait for Grandma to yell GO!!

The only other prego pic of me. I'm lame, I know. And I'm having this kid in a week or two. Oh well. I'll try to remember to take a few pics of her when she's born...Jk

The adults get pretty into it 'cause there is cash in the difficult eggs. Like a 20, a 10, several 5's and 1's. And change for the little ones.

That looks like fun. The cash Easter eggs would be great. I'm excited for your new baby coming soon!
